The second and third books in the trilogy, entitled Madeleine Plays and Madeleine Strays, are already written and edited, and are now in the final stages of production, for March 2014 releases.
Thanks to the huge support of my editor on this story, the fantastic erotic author Kenny Wright, it also looks as though I will be putting out a paperback version of the Madeleine Trilogy, although I do not have a date yet for when that might happen.
So, what can I say about Madeleine Wakes?
In writing this trilogy, my aim was to take a married couple in need of some way to reconnect sexually after getting over a major roadblock in their relationship, and explore how the fantasy of wife-sharing might emerge between them.
There’s a lot of great wife-sharing stories out there in which the husband or wife already have the fantasy of the wife sleeping with other men, and after a little discussion all they have to do is make the decision to try it. There are also plenty of stories out there in which the husband and wife have already discussed and even role-played the fantasy, and now only have to turn it into reality.
I wanted to write a story about a couple who have not had the wife-sharing fantasy before. The idea emerges organically from the precise circumstances of their relationship, and in so doing they both have to cope with the conflicting emotions surrounding it all.
So here we have Madeleine and Hugo Finnell, who have moved to a new city to rebuild their lives after years in which Madeleine has suffered awful depression. As she wakens from her painful past, reborn as a beautiful and confident woman thanks to her new treatment, her husband takes notice of her in a new and exciting way — voyeuristic, in fact. As he watches her, he becomes aware that her transformation has been spurred on by the way she is now overtly flirting with other men while going about her daily life.
The shock for Hugo is that he likes the idea of his wife flirting with other men.
Book 2, Madeleine Plays is tentatively slated for release on March 9, 2014, and Book 3 in the trilogy, Madeleine Strays, will be released March 23. As the titles suggest, the books follow the development of the wife-watching and wife-sharing fantasy and now Madeleine and Hugo take these powerful ideas from fantasy into reality. How will it affect their love for each other? Will their marriage survive?
Hope you enjoy the book(s) — do leave a review if you can, it will be much appreciated.
