Brand new novel out now — ‘A Lockdown Affair’
It’s been a while, hasn’t it? My last story was out in December, and then I actually had a couple of fairly long stories about two-thirds done in March, and then the world went crazy.
I hope you’re all keeping safe, and that you haven’t been affected by this awful pandemic — although, I know so many have been. My thoughts are with you if you have.
But, after a turbulent time creatively, I have managed to complete a brand new story. And this is a long one, 80,000 words, full novel-length.
‘A Lockdown Affair’ is my first attempt at creating a wife-sharing story that takes some account of the dramatic changes that have happened to society this year as a result of COVID-19.
The story involves a stay-at-home dad whose working wife commutes to the city, where she stays in a rented apartment three nights per week before returning home to the countryside. When the lockdown is put in place to try to contain the coronavirus, the husband begins to suspect that his wife may not be on her own when she’s staying at their city apartment.
It is another story about a cheating wife, as the title makes clear. But, spoiler alert, I promise it all does end happily.
One of my beta readers said he thought I’d got myself addicted to cheating wives, so perhaps my next story will have to be more of a straightforward hotwife arrangement, where there’s full agreement between the husband and wife before the sharing occurs. I think I just like a cheating wife because you know it’s the wife who is driving the arrangement, and there’s a lot of potential for drama and suspense.
Anyway, you can get read the story on any device through all the usual outlets:
I hope you enjoy it — let me know what you think. And if you’d like to really help me out, leave a review where you bought the book, to help other readers find it, too.
Until next time, thanks for your support!
